Theaters of War w/ Tom Secker and Matt Alford – Ep 122

Tom Secker and Matt Alford joins us to discuss their new project, Theaters of War, a documentary on the role of the U.S. military / national security state in censoring and creative control of Hollywood film and T.V. projects.  While the documentary does follow some of the evidence discussed in National Security Cinema, Tom and Matt’s book from five years go, the documentary is an expansion and discussion of much more than was known when National Security Cinema was released.  We also touch a bit on Top Gun: Maverick.

The first five people who message me after the episode drops, I will give $5 each through Paypal to go rent Theaters of War today.  The only catch is you have to message or email me after and let me know what you thought of the documentary.  Just email me at or message me through Facebook, Twitter, or Telegram.
