Enough Already w/ Scott Horton of Antiwar.com – Ep 104

Scott Horton of Antiwar.com joins me to discuss Scott’s new book “Enough Already: Time to End the War on Terror.”

We touch on many topics from the Carter administration forward, understanding that what transpired on September 11, 2001 was only the latest blowback from American foreign policy in the Middle East, how every president from Carter to Biden has shared in the irresponsibility of American “counter-terrorism” missions, and even how torture encouraged and in some cases helped create major al Qaeda leaders.

Scott Horton is director of the Libertarian Institute, editorial director of Antiwar.com, host of Antiwar Radio on Pacifica, 90.7 FM KPFK in Los Angeles, California and podcasts the Scott Horton Show from ScottHorton.org. He’s the author of the 2021 book Enough Already: Time to End the War on Terrorism, the 2017 book, Fool’s Errand:Time to End the War in Afghanistan and editor of the 2019 book The Great Ron Paul: The Scott Horton Show Interviews 2004–2019. He’s conducted more than 5,500 interviews since 2003.

Danny roundup – November 2018

I’ve decided to start doing a monthly roundup of Danny’s writing pieces.  It will help give a better single spot to check for specific articles.

Start with Danny’s American History for TruthDiggers series, an ongoing project examining US history from a more detailed and history based perspective.  The most recent addition (part 21) discussed the lost history of World War I and how its peace didn’t last, despite the overwhelming horror of the conflict.

My first published piece – Antiwar.com

I published my first piece yesterday at Antiwar.com, on the topic of moral injury.  I’d love to get all your thoughts about it.  Give it a read!!!

Moral Injury in the Terror Wars – Antiwar.com Original

There’s a new term for the deeply held emotional damage often caused by combat: moral injury. Moral injury is a fascinating, if not equally morbid, subject that should interest anyone in an authoritative position, but most often affects common veterans and active service members. People don’t choose their morals, at – Chris Henrikson for Antiwar.com Original
